Tom is Senior Advisor to The IC Research Institute and a Member of the Global Advisory Board. He is located in New York, USA. He is the Founder and Managing Partner of Latimer Light Consulting, LLC, a strategic consulting firm serving a discreet group of consultants, allocators, and investment managers in the fintech, DB, DC, E&F, healthcare, and insurance spaces. Previously, Tom was President of Franklin Templeton Financial Services Corp. and Head of the Institutional Business. While at Franklin Templeton, Tom was a member of the leadership team that executed the USD 4.5 bn acquisition of Legg Mason, creating the sixth-largest asset manager in the world. Prior to joining Franklin Templeton, Tom spent eighteen years at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, where he served in several roles, most recently leading the strategy and activities of the Global Consultant Sales Team. At J.P. Morgan, Tom served on the Institutional Operating Committee, Global Product Development Leadership Team, and Talent Review Committee. Before joining J.P. Morgan, Tom was the assistant treasurer for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, where he managed the investments for CPB’s substantial public subsidies and served as the plan sponsor.
Tom holds a B.A. from Georgetown University. He also holds FINRA Series 7, 66, and 24 licenses, as well as NFA Series 3 and 30 licenses.
